Chitwan National Park is the first national park in Nepal. It was established in 1973 and granted the status of a World Heritage Site in 1984. Chitwan is one of the few remaining undisturbed vestiges of the 'Terai' region
The Bardia National Park also spelled Bardia, is a protected area in Nepal that was established in 1988 as Royal Bardia National Park. Bardia National Park is the Largest National park.
Koshi Tappu Wildlife Reserve is located in the Eastern region of Nepal in the Terai region. It covers an area of 175 square km and includes the regions of Sunsari and Saptari districts.
